You know the feeling you get when you go to another room for a distinct purpose and the moment you walk in, you forget what it was? I now get that with websites. “I know I opened this particular window for a reason . . . now what was I doing here?”

Hmmm. I don’t know, Amy. I remember having that feeling when I was in my teens. Perhaps, when we reach a certain age, we’re conditioned by our culture to become more aware of those times when we forget why we opened a new window and to classify them as “senior” moments. Could they simply be moments that occur to busy multi-taskers (since we’re not computers, we drop tasks!)?

I’m not sure if it’s actually increasing. I can’t remember how it used to be. 😉 Yeah, I’ve definitely been doing it since childhood. I think you are right about the multitasking–it’s worse when I’m busy. Maybe if I retired . . . ?

For me, retirement hasn’t helped that experience of walking into a room for…something I then cannot remember. You might find retirement different, though.

As we get older, we begin to focus more on the Hereafter.
