Many members of our congregation are on Facebook, so we have a couple members of the Communication Committee whose responsibility it is to monitor the church's Facebook page and to create FB events for all church events that we want to ensure everyone is aware of (we have a Wednesday evening program that varies each week, as well as other special events related to church life).

Facebook also helps our care committee keep up with the goings on in our members' lives. That being said, our minister doesn't actually use it much - she relies on others to share info with her.

I basically just use email to communicate about church events. Also, I read your blog. And I really don't want to add more ways of using my computer. I have enough trouble already trying not to get trapped in front of the screen for hours on end. I don't dare go on Facebook!
